Next Steps

We believe that everyone has a next step whether you accepted Christ yesterday or 20 years ago.

God wants you to take your next step spiritually. That could mean getting baptized, committing to read the Bible each day, discovering how God wants to use you to help others, or just learning more about God’s plan for your life.  Everyone has a next step.

SALVATION

Salvation is God's free gift to us but we must accept it. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God's offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin's penalty.

When we turn from our self-ruled life and turn to Jesus in faith we are saved. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith.

BAPTISM

If you have made a decision to follow Christ, and would like to make that decision public, you can be baptized after any service at Beacon. Baptism is the biblical way to publicly show that you have made a choice to follow Christ, and it is one of the first things that Jesus asks us to do when we decide to follow Him.

MEMBERSHIP

If you will receive Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord and follow Him in baptism by immersion, we welcome you into our fellowship.

If you are a member of another church and God directs you here, you must be saved and baptized by immersion after your salvation. We will take care of appropriate details for transferring your membership.

DISCIPLESHIP

Discipleship is an import step of growth for every Christian. Discipleship takes place informally in various forms; however, we have structured Bible studies for men and ladies throughout the year.

A weekly time of personal discipleship is offered every Wednesday at 7:00PM. This time of discipleship is referred to as Timothy Training in following with the command in II Timothy 2:2, “And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.”

I AM READY.
